Advanced K-9 is raising the bar when it comes to training dogs.  Everyone receives professional, personalized attention - whether you are a police organization, or a first time puppy owner.  It is our belief that a well-trained dog is only as good as the handler.  Your success is our success.

Obedience

At Advanced K-9, we believe that obedience is the most important part of all training.  It is also the foundation upon which every aspect of advanced training is built upon.

We teach, guide, and support you through every technique, at every stage, for every level of dog.  From Puppy obedience, basic obedience, advanced obedience, to tactical obedience.

Behavior Modification

Advanced K-9 leads the field in behavior modification training, and solving dog problems.  We do our very best to create new levels of understanding between the dog and owner, so they are happier to live together within the same environment.

Our Detection services covers all levels of scent detection work:

We can teach passive or active indication, depending on the department need.

Advanced K-9 Training teaches footstep tracking for competition - and tracking, trailing and air scenting techniques for search dogs.  Our search dogs are trained for non-apprehension search and rescue work and police apprehension work.  We teach each dog to go after the strongest scent, because in real life situations, time is everything.

We also offer Tactical K9 Tracking.  Each Officer learns how to simultaneously manage his K9 and his weapon while on suspect searches and apprehension tracks.  At the end of this course each handler understands how to be safer and more tactically sound - while their dog is taking them into dangerous situations.
